Story
I’M FREE! After 10 months in a small cage, I’m finally out and learning what it means to be a puppy. WOOHOO! I’m Russell, and I’m ready to make up for lost time. I’m looking for an active, patient family with another dog to run and play with — bonus points for a fenced yard where I can really let loose. I’m doing great with house training, and I’m working on my leash manners and getting comfortable in my crate. Now that I’ve discovered toys (and, okay, also magazines ), I’m all about chewing, playing, and exploring everything I missed out on. I’ve got a lot of energy and I’m eager to learn — I just need you to help me burn it off with walks, runs, and plenty of stimulation. Think we could be a match? Apply for me — I’m Russell, and I can’t wait to meet you! You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Russell D.O.B: 9/13/25 Breed: Poodle Sex: Male Weight: 21.2 lbs Altered: Yes Adoption: 400 Good with Cats: I like cats! All I want to do is run and play Good with Dogs: Yes, other dogs are just fine! Good with Kids: I haven’t really spent much time with them but my foster moms doesn’t anticipate any problems.  Special Requirements: Fenced in yard, another dog in the home. *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! If you have questions or are wondering if the class you want to take qualifies please reach out! ♥ **This dog was rescued from a breeding situation. Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization ##2793979##
