Tucker is a gorgeous one year old male Sheltie Mix. He was found stray and not once, not twice, but 3 times. This is very surprising since he never wants to leave our immediate area and can always be found waiting at the back door when he has finished his potty break.  He is a very calm laid-back young dog. He prefers to be the observer of playtime with the dogs but gets along with the pack. However, once in a while he joins in the romping and wrestling. Tucker sleeps and eats in his kennel. He quickly learned the route to his kennel and loves getting in for the night and for a good meal. Tucker is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $300. If you would like to meet this quiet little boy, please submit an application from here.ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Poquita Paws does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes spay/neutered, rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventrative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport to most states across the country. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Just look at this sweet face! Come onnn, don’t you wanna take me home? Hey–I’m Bailey and I’m everything you could ever want in a dog. Sweet, quiet and affectionate with the occasional burst of energy, I would make the perfect addition to your family. And if you need a daily serotonin boost, my floppy ears and warm brown eyes will certainly do the trick! Now, I haven’t seen much of the world yet so it’s important to know that I might start off a little shy. But once I come out of my shell, I’m yours forever! Fun-loving and playful, I do well with kids and other dogs. I’ll go crazy for anything squeaky and I don’t mind sharing my toys. More than anything, though, I LOVE MY OWNER. I am incredibly loyal, sticking to your side like a doting shadow. I'll give you the best cuddles and will help you clean the plates after dinner. Not to mention, I’ll eagerly join you on all your walks and runs around the neighborhood. My foster mom brags about my house manners and I can't wait to show them off for my new folks. Finn is a one-year-old very handsome, fuzzy faced little terrier weighing 13 pounds. He is just starting to sport a little Mohawk. The little guy was found stray in Atascosa and served his jail time and was then placed in our rescue. From day one he has been friendly and playful. He often approaches you with his front paw in the air and when spoken to promptly rolls over for a belly rub which he begs you to not stop! Finn has shown us he is housebroken in 2 different environments. He gets along well with other little dogs. He is curious about chickens and little birds flying around. Cats are an unknown. He would be a great companion for older children. He would do great in a Good Citizenship Training class. Finn has been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, evaluated by the vet.  He is heartworm and tick illness negative and has been neutered. His adoption fee is $300.
