Story
I rescued Barberry about 2 years ago. He was severely malnourished and didn't know how to be a dog. He had never played with toys or run around a yard. So it's very exciting when he exhibits these characteristics. He is 4 years old now and about 60 lbs. Typically of doodles, he does have a sensitive stomach. Any changes in diet - or even treats - can upset him. So he needs very gradual good changes. He is very laid back. He enjoys going outside and to the dog park. He typically plays for a bit then just wanders or relaxes in the shade. He is an inside dog. He is crate trained, leash trained, and house broken. He is accustomed to another dog in the house and he gets very lonely if left alone for too long. A family situation or someone who can spend lots of time with him (or has other dogs) would be ideal for him.
