Story
Maggie is a 3-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier who has already been spayed.  She is an owner turn in because there was a new baby in the home; and Maggie was nervous with the family's new addition. Maggie has a gorgeous gray coat with white markings; and her eyes are so pretty!  She you can tell by the condition of her coat that she has been well carried for.  Maggie weighs 84 pounds so she is a big girl!  Her previous owner has shared that Maggie is very gentle and well behaved.  She would be fine in a home with older children and other dogs.  Maggie is both house trained and leash trained.  This is a very nice dog; and if you have always wanted to own a Pit Bull you need to come meet our gentle giant.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  November 28, 2025, 8:49 pm

Story
I’ve had Danko since he was just a few weeks old, and someone had dropped him off in a parking lot when he was just a tiny puppy. He was my first baby, and he has been very spoiled through the years. He has always been more of a reactive dog, and has never done particularly well with children. He is a very sweet dog, but is afraid and reacts because of it. He has never bitten anyone. He loves cuddling, he loves swimming, and he loves eating. He is the perfect hiking companion, and he loves exploring. My husband and I have a one year old daughter now, and due to danko’s uneasiness around children, we just are not comfortable having him around our daughter anymore. While it absolutely breaks our hearts to start this process, we ultimately want to find him a perfect and loving home where everyone can feel at ease.

Story
Reom is a 5-year-old male King German Shepherd who has already been neutered.  He is an owner turn in because he was too rough with the children in his family.  Reom has the classic black and tan coat of a German Shepherd; and he weighs 96 pounds so he is an extra large adult dog.  Reom is extremely smart and would require an experienced handler as his adopter.  He is very strong when walking on his leash; but, he is very well behaved.  Reom is house trained and leash trained.  Due to his large size he should not be in a home with small or young children.  If you have another dog--you would need to schedule a meet and greet with your dog.  Reom does not get along with all dogs.  This is a spectacular dog who will need an adopter who is familiar with the breed; and understand that Reom will need lots of love, a big fenced yard, and lots of opportunities for exercise.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.
