Story
Meet Molly! Your Sun-Loving CompanionThis beautiful 5-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can truly shine. With her soulful eyes and gentle spirit, she has so much love to give once she feels safe and secure.Molly can be shy and nervous when meeting new people, especially men, so she will need an adopter who can go slow and give her the time she needs to build trust. Once she knows you, her sweet and loyal personality really comes through. She would do best as the only pet in the home-no other dogs or cats-as she prefers having her space and her people all to herself. Due to her strength, she'll need a confident handler who can continue to guide her with positive, consistent support.A securely fenced yard is important for her, not only for safety but because she enjoys spending time outdoors. She absolutely loves basking in the sunshine and would happily lounge in a warm spot watching the world go by. While she enjoys short walks, she isn't looking for a high-energy lifestyle-just calm, steady companionship.Molly is currently carrying a bit of extra weight, so she'll benefit from a home committed to helping her get back to a healthy size through proper diet and gentle exercise. If you're looking for a devoted companion and are willing to give a sensitive dog the patience and understanding she deserves, Molly could be the perfect match for you. Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1. View the animal's profile at adopt.spca.bc.ca 2. Submit an application https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/application-forms/3. If it's a match, staff will contact you to set up an appointment for a meet & greet. 4. Live happily fur-ever after!*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!PLEASE NOTE: This dog is located on the Sunshine Coast and travel via BC Ferries is required to adopt. Appointments are preferred to adopt one of our animals. Please speak with shelter staff prior to visiting our branch. Primary Color: Blonde Weight: 42.2 Age: 4yrs 8mths 2wks
