Story
I have had Philo for 5.5 years. His birthday is April 30 2021. Philo is VERY energetic and loves walks. He does love to play with other dogs but he is so fast, strong and boisterous that it sometimes ends up a contest and then aggression can appear. Especially with other male dogs. He tends to do better with females but does not listen to his owner when he is in a high stress or energy activity. I believe he would do best as the only animal in the home. Top dog! He does get over protective with his female owner. But I have never seen aggression other than when I was in a domestic violence situation. Which brings me to his early history. My ex would not treat him very nice sometimes and when he would raise his voice to me Philo would get very amped up and would start doing a warning bark. If the escalation continued Philo would attack the ex. The ex was abusive to him but has not been around this man for about three years now. He is a lover!! He got food aggressive toward the family cat

HELLO! I'M MOCHA! Did you bring a toy? Do you want to play? What's that over there? Can I see it? Can I chase it? Can I put it in my mouth? I've got places to bounce, things to investigate, toys to collect, and approximately seventeen million thoughts happening at once. I'm a puppy, which means the world is fascinating, everything is exciting, and sitting still is sometimes a very unreasonable request. I'm always ready for my next adventure, whether that's playing with my favorite toy or watching something happen across the room like it's the most important event in history. Now, once I've burned off some of that puppy energy, you'll get to see my sweet side. I'm a lovable little guy who's still learning the ropes of life. I'll need someone willing to keep teaching me good manners and give me plenty of appropriate outlets for my energy. Because I'm still learning to keep my mouth to myself, I'd do best with kids over 10 who understand puppy behavior. Well, well, well... look who you've found! I'm Loki, and while I may not have the magic of the Norse god I'm named after, I've certainly mastered the art of getting people to fall for me. I'm an affectionate, well-mannered older Pittie who's got plenty of charm left in this handsome face. I enjoy spending time with my people, and I'm generally a very good boy. Of course, I can't promise I won't pull a little trick now and thenlike convincing you to give me extra attention or making you forget that you were supposed to be doing something else. Now, I should probably mention that I am a strong fellow on the leash. Walking me is less of a casual stroll and more of an opportunity to discover just how committed you are to leg day! I'll need someone who can handle my strength and continue helping me practice my leash manners. I get along with other dogs, but cats are definitely not part of my mischief-making crew. If you're looking for a sweet, sturdy companion with a playful namesake and a heart full of love, I'm ready to work my Loki magic on you.
