💔 She was found as a skeleton… and somehow, she still smiles. 💔 When Betty was rescued from a cruelty case at Levy County Animal Control, she weighed just 19 lbs — nothing but skin and bones. Starved, neglected, and forgotten… after once being adopted as a hopeful puppy from Alachua County Animal Control. She was transferred back to Alachua, and that is where we rescued her!! She had every reason to give up on people. But she didn’t. Today, Betty is a healthy, happy 3-year-old Pitbull mix, weighing 50lbs — and she is truly one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet. Her past hasn’t hardened her… it’s made her love even bigger. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She is potty trained, crate trained, and dog friendly — the kind of dog who just wants to be near you and love you. We were certain her happily ever after would come quickly. But months later… there has been zero interest. No applications. No inquiries. Nothing. Is it because she’s a black dog? Because she’s a Pitbull mix? We just don’t understand how a dog this special keeps getting overlooked. Betty has already survived the worst. Now she’s just waiting for someone to finally choose her. 🐾🩷Raven is looking for her FOREVER HOME 🩷🐾 We rescued this sweetheart a little over a week ago along with her brother. We actually never even listed her as someone applied for her right away. They then backed out after a week. We had someone else interested so we didn’t have to list her and wouldn’t you know they backed out. This little girl is a Gem 💎 so whoever gets her is going to be blessed beyond measure!! Raven is a 9 week old Shepadoodle and weighs 14lbs. Her Mom is a German Shepherd and Dad is a black labradoodle. She will be a large breed dog. She went to the vet yesterday and is spayed, microchipped and up to date with vaccines and preventatives. She is the sweetest girl, loves to play and is almost completely potty trained. Which is amazing for a 9 week old dog. She is very smart and learns quickly. Her brother is getting adopted tomorrow, so let’s spread far and wide to get her adopted as well. She is in a loving foster home in Beverly Hills, Florida.
