🐾🩵 Bentley is looking for his FOREVER HOME 🩵🐾 We rescued this sweetheart this weekend and he is doing Amazing!! He was found dumped at the Peanut Festival and ended up at the shelter. Bentley is a 5 month old German Shepherd mix and weighs 34 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with vaccines and preventatives. He has had little structure up to this point but is extremely loyal and food motivated and learns extremely quick. He is doing great with potty training and crate training. He is very playful and loves to play tug and fetch. He loves other dogs! Bentleys PERFECT home would be someone experienced with shepherds, a fenced yard and another dog to play with, or an active family. He is a sweetheart and very loving. If you are interested in this sweet boy, please go to our website at rescuedogsdream.com and complete an application. Background check, reference and vet check will be completed prior to meeting Bentley.

Story
Daisy is a sweet and loving dog with trust issues. I got her from a friend’s daughter who had adopted her from a suspected puppy mill. Daisy was 4 mos old at the time and was called a mistake. Daisy was crated and let outside 3 times a day. Found out afterward she was never house broken and doesn’t like the leash. Hates being inside. Have had her in the house and it was disastrous. Definite behavioral issues there. Also found out she is still a puppy at around 18 mos old. Not adult.I do think she was abused, if not neglected. I have 2 senior male terriers. They want nothing to do with Daisy. Daisy needs more special attention and training than I can give her. Daisy is very smart. Food motivated. Knows a couple commands, but is very shy. She’ll take treats but runs and barks when I try to give her a chew stick or toy. She loves being petted and butt scratches. Doesn’t know how to play. Never tried to bite or show aggression. Very sweet and mild. Best in a home with other dogs.

Story
This is Peanut — a lovable girl who’s all about fun, sunshine, and snuggles! Peanut is 5 years old, 66 lbs., and full of personality. She enjoys playtime and then settles in just as easily for some sunshine and snuggles. She’s the kind of dog who keeps life fun but also knows how to relax right alongside you. Peanut has lived with other dogs and got along well, shared her home with a cat (and loved her feline friend), and has been gentle and sweet with children. Peanut has experience being part of a family—and she’s ready to do it again. Her favorite things? Couches and bean bag chairs, Tug-of-war and soccer balls, stretching out in the sun, snuggles, pets, and staying close to her people. ..and yes—she’s a big fan of hashbrowns! Peanut is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated—she’s ready to go home. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate dog who brings both fun and companionship, Peanut would love to meet you. Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL. ID#60286989. Come meet Peanut and see if she’s the right fit for your home.
