Story
Meet Sansa, a 10 year old Shepherd, Chow Chow, Collie mix. (According to her genetics report) who loves to give kisses and rip all the squeakers out of toys! Sansa enjoys playing, but as a 10 year old (she has no idea she is old) she acts like a puppy still. She is very loving and will always be right there with you. Sansa loves the beach and the snow, she loves to play in the yard and the house too. Sansa is great with cats and other dogs. She is good with older kids, as the younger ones tend to get a little too touchy feely. We are so sad to be rehoming our beloved Sansa, but she is very lonely. She grew up in a house with three other dogs, and since we've moved, she has had a hard time adjusting. Sansa deserves to be around other dogs she can play and run with. She is quirky and she whines when she doesn't get enough attention, but we love her and hope you will too.

Story
We adopted her on June 11, 2021, her forever “birthday.” She was four then, now a sweet and silly eight-year-old who came to us as a confiscated dog from Clay County. She’s amazing with kids and people, though not the biggest fan of other animals. She’s cuddly, smart, playful, and loves snuggling in blankets to watch TV. She’ll eat almost anything with her industrial stomach—mangos, melon, chicken, steak, rice, and even candy when she sneaks it (cotton candy, Airheads, Twizzlers). She gets random zoomies and destroys any stuffed animal, but leaves shoes alone. She hates nail clipping, tolerates baths, and always steals the whole bed. She loves attention, car rides, hides under tables, sleeps on mountains of clothes, and has kids and grandkids. She received her vaccine and rabies shot last year.

Story
Vida is a soft, quiet soul who sees the world a little differently as she is vision impaired in her left eye. She’s shy around new people and environments, often preferring a cozy corner or a calm presence nearby. But once she begins to trust, her sweetness shines through in the softest tail wags and quiet snuggles. Vida doesn’t ask for much—just a peaceful home, gentle guidance, and someone patient enough to show her the world isn’t so scary. She moves slowly, listens closely, and leans into the people who show her kindness. Her disability doesn’t define her—it just makes her more in tune with the love she’s searching for. She needs another dog around her, one that’s calm and will give her space when needed. Her adoption fee is $250.
