Story
Ozzy is a male Pitbull and Husky mixed doggy who is about 2 years old. Ozzy does know how to sit and shake. Ozzy is a handsome, free-spirited Husky/Pit mix with a big personality and an adventurous heart. True to his Husky roots, he’s energetic, intelligent, and always ready to explore. Add in that Pit mix loyalty, and you’ve got a devoted companion who will bond deeply with his people. Ozzy has previously lived around other dogs and may do well with a proper introduction. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. As with many young, active dogs, he’ll thrive in a home that can provide structure, exercise, and positive reinforcement training. Ozzy was surrendered due to resource guarding, so he’ll need an experienced, patient adopter who understands canine behavior and is willing to continue working on training and building trust. With clear boundaries and consistency, dogs like Ozzy can make incredible progress. Ozzy’s Ideal Home: Active household that can keep up with his energy Experienced dog owner Continued training and positive reinforcement Proper introductions to any resident pets If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion with a free spirit and tons of potential, Ozzy might just be your guy! Ozzy is described as a 'Free Spirit'. Intelligent, independent, confident and clever, I prefer making my own decisions but will listen to you if you make a good case. We’re partners in this adventure. Treat me like one and we’ll both live happily ever after. (Internally motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. Story
Due to some unknown reason this doggy has been with us for quite a while. So to help get this kitty adopted, we’re waiving the adoption fee! With an approved application, you can take this doggy home for free! Bear is a male German Shepherd mixed doggie who is about 3 years old. Per his foster family: He is doing great in foster! They are still working on potty training but he has made great improvements. He goes to the dog park and loves running around and does fine with the other dogs. He does ok with their outdoor cats. He is crate trained. They are starting to let him off leash at home and he is doing well with that. He has been to the groomers and was boarded and did fabulous. He is described as a 'Busy Bee'. I’m a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day; give me something to do. After my job’s done, I’ll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings. (Externally motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young). Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. .
