Story
I have had Duke (and his sister Ruby) since they were 8 weeks old. Their birthday is Halloween day, 2022. Duke loves being outside. He loves to chase birds, squirrels, and rabbits. He has an incredible prey drive, so cats are a no no. He grew up on a 5 acre farm, so he's used to having room to run. I had to move into town and he and his sister are suffering. They are learning to leash walk but prefer their tie-outs. Duke and Ruby are a bonded pair that need to be adopted together. Duke loves to cuddle and give kisses. He does have a bad habit of jumping on people (thanks Husky genes) so an experienced dog person would be ideal. Duke and Ruby did not grow up with kids, so they are still leery when kids are around, however Duke warms up fast and trusts more. He loves to play fetch, he and his sister have their routine worked out, he fetches, she steals it halfway back and she brings it to you. Its their system and they both get the exercise they need.

Story
I have had Ruby (and her brother Duke) since they were 8 weeks old. Their birthday is Halloween day, 2022. Ruby loves being outside chasing a tennis ball. She has an incredible prey drive, so cats are a no no. She and her brother love to chase rabbits, squirrels, and any other smaller animal. She grew up on a 5 acre farm, so she's used to having room to run. I had to move into town and she and her brother are suffering. They are learning to leash walk but prefer their tie-outs. Duke and Ruby are a bonded pair that need to be adopted together. Ruby loves to give kisses with the side of her tounge. She loves to copy her brother, jumping on people (thanks Husky genes) so an experienced dog person would be ideal. Duke and Ruby did not grow up with kids, so they are still leery when kids are around. She takes a little longer to warm up to people than her brother. Ruby's number one love is her tennis ball. You will throw out a rotator cuff before she's ever ready to stop.
