Story
Sorry for the pics. He didnt wanna come out of the pen, so i blurred the wall, and now it just looks fake lol. Meet Auggy, a six-month-old German Shepherd/Airedale Terrier mix with a warm golden-red coat, the softest amber eyes, and ears that are still figuring out which way they want to point - and honestly, he's still figuring out a lot of things too, and that's perfectly okay. Auggy is Amelie's brother, and like his sister, he came in on the shy side - so shy, in fact, that getting a great photo of him has been a challenge since leash walking is still a brand new concept! But here's the thing about Auggy: he's already starting to come out of his shell, and the more comfortable he feels, the more his sweet personality shines through. He'll need a patient, experienced adopter with a calm home who understands that a timid pup just needs time, consistency, and kindness to truly flourish. If you're looking for a project pup with a heart of gold and a whole lot of potential, Auggy - and possibly his sister Amelie, also available at HDHS - might be exactly the match you've been waiting for. Come meet this golden boy and see that spark for yourself!
