Story
Hi there! My name is Pudge and I am a senior Pitbull mix! I've had a complex past, and I am looking to finally settle down into my retirement home to live out my life! In my very first home I wasn't a huge fan of the other male dogs that I lived with. After we learned this, I became a strictly outdoors dog... until ultimately, I was surrendered to an animal sanctuary where I was supposed to live the rest of my life. At the sanctuary we learned I also do not like cats. Thankfully the people at the sanctuary knew that I could have a bright future in a real home with a family!! I am a gentleman at the shelter, and I really love my squeaky toys and treats. I can't wait to finally find a real home after 10 years of waiting!!

Story
Hello!! My name is Luna! I am a seasoned pro at the shelter. I have been here for a while and am still looking for my forever home to settle into. I am a little picky... but this does not stop me from being an amazing companion! I am pretty selective with my dog friends and cannot live with cats. I also would prefer to not live with kids as they can be loud and stressful. I do not like the shelter... it is so loud and there are too many people that I am unfamiliar with. Men can be scary and have hurt me in the past, so I definitely prefer a woman to bond with. Luckily my friends at the shelter have learned what I DO like. I enjoy socializing with the people that I know outside of dog wing, as well as playing with my favorite squeaky balls. I do have a lot of energy, so I spend time playing outside and walking on the doggy treadmill. I really just need someone to value me and understand my quirks. I have so much love to give, I just need someone who feels safe and won't put me in situations that make me uncomfortable. Please give me a chance...

Story
Hi there! My name is Brownie and I am a young pitbull. I am known to be good with kids and dogs but have yet to meet a cat. I am still new at the shelter so not much is known about me yet. I have proven to LOVE treats and seem to be really good when meeting new people. Since I am young, I still have a lot of energy. I would love someone to work on command-based training with, or to take me on long walks. I'm a very good boy and cannot wait to find a forever family!!
