Story
Willow will be four next month. She is a mixed breed and I did have her DNA tested and have the results to share. She is very active and sweet. She is house trained, but has no other training although she is very trainable. My disability is keeping me from being able to walk her as much as she needs. She needs to be in a home where she is the only pet, although I had an older dog when I first got her. I think that she would need a little more training before that and she does chase cats, I have outdoor cats and she is not a big fan. She needs someone who is active and has the space she needs to run around. It is becoming harder to take care of her financially and she definitely deserves to be well taken care of. She will bring joy to anyone who takes her in. I am available to answer any other questions.

Story
Daisy was rescued by my 80 year old mom, off the street in Rocky Mount, NC during winter 2025. She is a loving companion. When she was small, my mom could manage her just fine. My elderly mom has since required the use of a cane to walk. This has severely limited her ability to walk Daisy on a leash safely. Also, my mom's backyard is inadequate to safely let Daisy run loose in the backyard. Daisy is a sweet and loving companion. However, she has not been well socialized because of my mom's mobility issues. Due to her lack of socialization, and her playful nature, she recently got loose from my mom and ran up to a small dog in the neighborhood, which frightened the small dog, and in defending itself, triggered Daisy to bite back, which injured the small dog. Daisy is not "aggressive" in any way, but obviously being un-socialized, and attached to an elderly owner, has gotten into trouble. We have determined that it is no longer a good idea for my elderly mom to keep her.
