You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Born 11-15-2021  Buck was found in the country near a highway, along with a black lab Maggie who found her home.  He is super people friendly and gentle.   Buck has really become a stout gorgeous adult dog.  He doesn't get along with male dogs but plays with all female dogs. Buck is learning basic obedience commands.  He learns quickly but will need to have a firm human leader.  He is a large dog and has yard escape capabilities, but loves being an inside dog.  He is a big baby and is motivated by his love of toys. He rides well in a car. He came to a shelter meeting recently and was shy at first but very people friendly and sweet. He does well on a leash. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Born Jan 4, 2024   Jabba is a puppy at heart.  He isn't overly active but he does like to play with other similar sized dogs in the yards.  He LOVES to play in the doggie pools.  He learns routines quickly, moving easily from indoor areas into the play yards and then back again when time to have meals. Jabba is cautious of new people or dogs.  Although Jabba gets along with other dogs and he interacts with volunteers well, there is an adjustment time before he accepts changes.  Some of the volunteers think he would make a good companion dog for a single individual, a one on one situation.  Some think he favors Scubby Doo in looks and personality.  So if you like Scooby comics, think about giving Jabba a forever home.
