Buddy is a sweetheart, his owner got diagnosed with COPD a lung disease and with his long fur, it is not safe for the owner to continue to have him in their care. He is a bit shy but if you got treats he warms up very quickly. He loves walks and exploring. Is is about 5 years old and is social with other animals. He is active looking for an active owner or a large area he can protect.

Meet Dahlia!Dahlia came into the shelter April 15th after being surrendered by her owner. Dahlia arrived at the shelter scared but, after less than a few days, the staff was able to get Dahila more comfortable, and her true sweet nature came out. Since she has been here so long, she is now very comfortable!Dahlia is amazing in play groups especially with other dogs she can wrestle and run around with. She prefers companionship of either her person or another dog. She is great with other dogs and will go out of her way to meet one. She is a pro on a leash and enjoys going for walks with staff and volunteers. This gal also loves water and will encourage others to get in with her Dahlia is a fast learner and seems to be potty trained, she follows commands well and is very smart and understanding. Our staff says that their favorite characteristics are she is sweet, loving, adorable and very cuddly.Come meet Dahlia at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
