Meet Bosco — the happiest boy you’ll ever meet.
Bosco is a 3–4 year-old Labrador/Terrier mix, about 60 lbs of heart, muscle, and pure joy. His foster family even considered renaming him “Happy,” because that’s exactly what he brings everywhere he goes — a whole-body wag that starts with his tail and works its way up.
Bosco was found wandering a neighborhood in Harlingen, South Texas, likely dumped by people who didn’t deserve him. Despite that, he hasn’t lost his trust in humans. In fact, Bosco still believes his people are out there somewhere — the ones who will love him the way he deserves.
And he will love them right back with everything he has.
Bosco is smart and eager to please. He already knows sit, shake, and stay, walks nicely on a harness, and is crate and potty trained. Like many young labs, he starts out with a burst of enthusiasm — but once he settles in, you see his sweet, loyal soul shine through.
He does wonderfully with other dogs and would love a home where he has a buddy to play with. Cats aren’t his thing, but people absolutely are. Because Bosco is strong and gets so excited to be near his humans, he would do best with kids old enough to handle his joyful energy.
His foster describes him best:

Bosco is neutered, fully vaccinated, and on preventatives, and he’s more than ready to find the family he’s been waiting for.
