Story
Say hello to Aspen! Aspen has a love of playing, a desire for a job to do, and a knack for looking cute while she does both. Aspen has been with our family since she was 2 months old. We love her dearly, but are moving and unable to take her with us. She is in need of space to run and someone who has the time to spend putting all that energy she has to good use. She has been an outdoor dog on our property her whole life, but with some training she could get used to indoors as well. She needs to either have space to run around in a fenced yard with a dig barrier, or someone who has the time to take her on adventures and walks daily. She is kennel trained for nighttime. She knows sit, “hold” (waiting for a treat to be given), and “go to bed” to go to her kennel. Aspen is an alpha female and sometimes bullies our other female dog, so it is unknown if she would get along with another dog.

Story
Roxy is a rescue my son adopted in January 2018. She is a sweetheart and a cuddlebug, and she is 100% a lady. She loves her sweaters and will play dress up with you all day. Sadly, my son is deploying and I can't give her the care she needs. Roxy has suffered abuse, and her scarring suggests she may have been a bait dog. She has anxiety, fears thunder, gunshots, and yelling. She is house trained, but may have accidents when frightened. We have worked with her over the years, and she has done well. She does well with the other animals in our home, but she may attack dogs outside her pack. She needs slow introductions and must be muzzled when meeting new dogs, so ideally she would go to a home with no other dogs. We never take her out without a harness and leash. Roxy needs a calm, patient home with someone who understands fear-based behavior and won't give up on her. She has so much love to give and will be a wonderful companion. Please reach out if you could be that person.
