She’s very Shepherd-like—she’s talkative, active, curious, and always ready to be involved in whatever you’re doing. Nell can be a little unsure when faced with new things, and that uncertainty may come out as barking or some leash reactivity. With patience, confidence-building, and a little guidance from her person, she’s learning that the world isn’t so scary. She’s incredibly smart and catches on quickly when given clear direction. So far, Nell has been *dog-friendly and cat-friendly*. She still has some puppy behaviors to work on, but she’s eager to learn and responds well to correction and structure. She would thrive with someone who enjoys training, will give her appropriate outlets for her energy, and is willing to help her build confidence through new experiences. Nell isn’t looking for a perfect home—she’s looking for a committed person who will help her become the amazing dog she’s capable of being. Kunu "means Chuck" which is a reference from Forgetting Sarah Marshall if there are any fans out there. He is a curious, go-getter who loves to explore and is interested in everyone he meets. He does great with bigger dogs and has a smart, eager-to-learn personality. He's crate trained and quickly figured out how to use a dog door, and has very few accidents, if any. His large, adorable ears are impossible to resist, and the white spots on his front paws resemble cute heeler markings. He's full of playful energy but also has a sweet, cuddly side. He loves being outside and comes back and forth from inside to outside as he pleases. This adorable boy would make a wonderful addition to just about any family. He's patiently waiting for his perfect person to come along and give him the loving home he deserves.
