Story
Copen came to me when he was about 8 months old, from a neglected situation where he was the last pup of a backyard breeder. He was rescued by my best friend who was the local city cop who picked him up. He is perfect in every way. He was trained by a Broward Sheriffs Officer who trains K9s for BSO here locally in Fort Lauderdale, he has his certificate of completion for basic leash training. He is currently 6 years old, going to turn 7 in December.Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves due to my new job with extremely long work hours. It pains me dearly to have to let go of my side kick, but it's not fair to him either to be home alone for such long periods of time. He is truly a giant sweetheart of a baby. Looks can be deceiving as they say. He looks mean and bad a**, but loves people to no end, unless he senses danger and goes into protection mode. He loves going on walks and he's an amazing companion to have, a true family protector.

Story
"I pulled Max from the Humane Society just hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized. He is a stunning, 1-year-old Siberian Husky who has a heart of gold, but he needs a very specific 'forever' home to succeed. Because I want to ensure Max never faces a shelter again, he is available FREE to an experienced Husky owner who can commit to his training. The Full Truth About Max: Must be the ONLY pet: Max does not get along with other dogs or cats. He needs to be the king of his castle! NOT House-Trained: Max is still learning his potty manners. He needs a patient owner who is home often to help him master a routine. Husky Experience Required: This is not a dog for a first-time owner. He needs someone who understands the breed's energy and quirks. Why Max is Worth the Work: Stupidly Obedient: For a young Husky, he is incredibly focused. He listens, follows commands, and truly wants to please his people. Affectionate: He is a world-class kisser and a total sweetheart.
