Story
Meet Major — A Smart and Energetic Guy Major is a high-energy, incredibly intelligent dog who was rescued from euthanasia with the goal of finding him a safe, permanent home. He is a very sweet and affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with his people and truly enjoys human companionship. Major has a confident personality and likes to take on an alpha role, so he does best with clear structure, consistency, and an adopter who understands confident dogs. He is highly food motivated, which makes him eager to learn and very responsive to training when positive reinforcement is used. He does best with female dogs and has generally gotten along well with them. Major does not do well with large male dogs and can be too rough for small dogs, so careful placement is important. While he may be able to live successfully with a compatible female dog, Major would likely thrive as an only dog where he can enjoy having his person to himself. An active lifestyle is essential for Major. He has a lot of energy and truly needs space and time to run, play, and burn off that energy each day. A home with a securely fenced yard or an adopter who enjoys regular exercise and enrichment activities would be ideal. When his physical and mental needs are met, Major is loving, focused, and eager to please. Major is looking for a committed home that can provide leadership, daily activity, and continued training. With the right match, he will be a devoted, affectionate companion ready to make the most of his second chance. If you're interested in meeting Major, please contact Nick at 706-905-8233. Story
Meet Kona – Your Talkative, Toy-Loving Adventure Buddy! Kona is a fun-loving, high-energy pup with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you like you’ve been gone for years (even if it’s only five minutes), Kona is your guy! He comes running to meet you at the door every single time, ready to shower you with excitement and love. This handsome boy lives for attention — both giving it and receiving it. He’s the master of the “puppy dog eyes” and will politely (and dramatically) beg to inspect absolutely anything you’re holding… even if it’s just a sheet of paper. He simply wants to be part of whatever you’re doing! Kona loves to walk, run, and play. Trips to the park are his absolute favorite, and he thrives when he has plenty of outdoor time and activity. He would do best in an active household or with a family committed to keeping him physically exercised and mentally stimulated. A bored Kona is a mischievous Kona, but a busy Kona is a very happy boy! He’s wonderfully respectful with his belongings and is great about chewing only on his own toys, especially when he has a good selection of tough chew toys to choose from. Keep his toy box stocked, and he’ll happily entertain himself between adventures. His favorite toy is his lambchop he was adopted with, which he refuses to destroy! Kona is also quite the conversationalist! He loves his classic “husky talk” and isn’t shy about telling you how he feels. If you enjoy a vocal, expressive dog with a silly, playful spirit, you’ll adore his commentary. When he was first adopted, Kona struggled with very bad separation anxiety. With time, patience, and consistency, he has improved tremendously. He’ll do best with a family that understands his past and can continue providing reassurance and routine. However, Kona cannot live with cats due too his high prey drive. He has been dog tested and does well with dogs his size or bigger, though small dogs are unknown. Kona needs a home that matches his energy, appreciates his silly personality, and is ready for a loyal shadow who wants to be involved in everything. In return, you’ll get endless enthusiasm, daily laughs, and a best friend who will love you with his whole heart. If you’re ready for adventure, conversation, unconditional love, please contact Krysha at 706-888-1709 or Kyle at 408-439-4020 to meet Kona! Story
Meet Bandit — your adventure buddy with a heart of gold 💛 Bandit may have a mischievous name, but this girl is pure sweetness through and through. She greets every day with excitement and is always ready to see what kind of adventure you have planned. A walk around the neighborhood? She’s in. A road trip? Buckled up and ready. A lazy afternoon outside? Her favorite kind of quality time. More than anything, Bandit just wants to be by your side. She doesn’t need anything fancy — as long as she’s with her person, she’s happy. Whether you’re out exploring or simply moving from room to room at home, she’ll be right there, loyal and content. And when it comes to affection? Bandit is always ready for pets. A gentle scratch, a loving pat, or a full cuddle session — she soaks it all up with the sweetest expression and a wagging tail to match. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will happily tag along on every adventure and shower you with love at the end of the day, Bandit is ready to steal your heart (in the best way). 💕
