Sapphire is in training, but will be available for adoption Ms. Sapphire is a lovely medium sized shepherd mix weighing 45#. This sweet adult lady is lot's of fun and cuddly too. Sapphire will surely delight you when she gets her zoomies going.   If you are looking for a walking buddy or a playmate for your dog then this girl is a great choice. She plays well in large groups or small. Chase is her favorite game. She reads social ques of other dogs very well and will avoid conflict. She is a sensitive lady that wants to please her people. Cats have been a learning experience and we continue to work on not chasing the kitties. Her listening skills are very good as is her recall. When it comes to children she is all wiggly and silly acting. A fenced yard would suit Sapphire best.   Sapphire will be fully trained once she completes the program under Refurbished Pets. How fun it will be to build a bond with this amazing dog who will show you all the things she has learned. Putting all her skills to work. Don't miss out on Sapphire. Give her the chance to shine. Crate trained, housebroken, and very smart. Sapphire's adoption fee has been sponsored.  She is fully vetted until October 2026.  Sapphire is spayed, microchipped, & on prevention. Applications to adopt are at www.trackingintheshadows.com.  Applicant must live within 1 hour of Elkhart IN. *We do not accept electric/underground fences. Story
Meet Sarge! Sarge is a 2-year-old husky that we have had since a puppy. He is a great dog that requires a lot of attention, lots of exercise, daily walks, and mental stimulation. He does well with my cats, but might take some behavior modification with stranger cats. He plays well with my kids, and does really well with my elderly mother. I would still recommend supervision. He does well with most dogs, but he likes to be the dominant one. He has played well with numerous other breeds of dogs under controlled circumstances. We are looking to rehome after my husband had 2 strokes. So trying to keep his stress level down in the home is ideal. Sarge will come with one large crate, leash. He is current on vaccines. He is not neutered. We were advised to wait until 2 years of age for full maturity. Sarge needs a fenced in area for off leash play. He has never tried to jump over fences but he will go under :) as stated he needs supervision. He is house trained he is crate trained.
