Story
Hello potential loving home! My name is Koda and my friend, Apollo, and I are looking for a loving home to call our own! Apollo and I came to this shelter from a previous shelter- where we lived in a rough situation since we were young. Apollo relies on me for confidence, because I am a chill, easy going dude that acclimates fast to new environments. I enjoy meeting new friends, but my favorite thing to do is play with Apollo and snuggle up on a comfy dog bed. Apollo and I both have extremely high prey drives because of our breed. We need to go to a home with NO OTHER SMALL DOGS OR CATS. We could also benefit from some basic training to help us grow into the best versions of ourselves. Take a chance on us, we won't disappoint you!We are looking for a very patient home to help us grow into the best versions of ourselves! If you are interested in adopting us, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 for more information! Our adoption staff is available by phone starting right at 10:30 to 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday. Our adoption process is first come first serve.KODA'S AND APOLLO'S ADOPTION FEE: $400 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Koda, Apollo, and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! *DISCOUNTED ADOPTION FEE*Hello potential loving home! My name is Apollo and my friend, Koda, and I are looking for a loving home to call our own!My friend and I originally came from another shelter- where we were previously living in a rough situation. Because of that, I am pretty shy and timid right off the bat. I am vocal when I meet new people, but don't let my loud bark scare you off. It might take me a while to get used to you, but please be patient with me! I rely on Koda to be confident around new people, and he really helps me come out of my shell and trust new humans. I am very sweet and playful. I really enjoy playing with Koda! Once we get our energy out, we enjoy snuggling with each other on comfortable beds and hanging out with each other and our friends. Koda and I have extremely high prey drives because of our breeds and previous history. Because of that, we cannot go to a home with other small animals or cats. We could also benefit from some basic training, and we love to learn! We are looking for a very patient home to help us grow into the best versions of ourselves. Story
This is Opie, he is a 6 year old pure breed German Shepard. He was an outdoor dog from a puppy to 5 years old, and has been an indoor dog the last year. He is a wonderful happy calm guy. He loves to go for walks and run around. He does well with other dogs, cats and children. He loves to be pet and cuddled, but also likes his space from time to time. He’s very friendly, well behaved and loves to meet knew people. He can be a bit nervous with new people and new environments but warms up quickly. An ideal home for Opie would include a loving home, room for him to roam around, daily exercise, and a backyard. Also would like an owner with patience and has knowledge about his breed. He does have some separation anxiety (this is very common in German Shepards). However, when Opie is in more of routine, such as designated feeding and bathroom schedules, he thrives!! He has never been aggressive or destructive, and is very well behaved!
