Story
Cranberry was scared of humans when she first came in, but she slowly learned that they aren't so bad. She is still shy and skittish, but has made some friends with employees! She loves to play with her toys and run around with dogs in adjacent yards. This regal lady is very independent and absolutely loves to explore around outside. Her foster says: "Cranberry Martini has been doing extremely well in the foster home and has really blossomed. She is loving, well behaved, house trained, and has had no accidents. She is affectionate with my son and does well walking on a tandem lead with the resident dog, and would benefit from having a confident dog companion. She is a bit easily startled and shows some fear around men, especially tall men, but calms with gentle reassurance. She is not very food motivated but will take medication easily with Vienna sausage."

Meet Paxton Paxton is an eight year old black German Shepherd with a calm, gentle presence. He is truly a well mannered companion who has settled nicely into home life. Paxton is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash. He also knows basic cues such as sit and give paw. He loves to play catch with a ball and enjoys having a good chew toy nearby, but overall he is a very relaxed, easygoing dog. Paxton is comfortable around other dogs and cats and generally pays them no mind. His foster describes him as a calm cuddler who is sweet, obedient, and eager to please. He is happy to do whatever you ask of him. Paxton is past the puppy stage and ready to offer steady companionship, affection, and a peaceful presence to his new family. If you are looking for a loyal, gentle dog who fits easily into a home, Paxton may be the perfect match.
