Gray is an 18-month-old Shepsky who comes to PAWS as an owner surrender. He was part of a litter that his owner was unable to adopt out. Gray is not a big guy- he is full grown at 45lbs. Gray is a very sweet and gentle boy who has never lived inside. He is shy at first and unsure of his surroundings. It does not take him long to warm up, however, and once he does, you can't help but fall in love with him. Gray is the most gentle soul. He has met kids and dogs and been great with both. He is calm and not a jumper. He needs to be house trained, but he is very smart and eager to please, so it should not take him long to learn. Gray is microchipped and fully vaccinated. He will be adopted out with a voucher for his neuter.

Looking for my fur-ever home to lavish my love and playfulness on. I will share my balls with you, I never go anywhere without them. I love to run, play and cuddle. No alarm system needed; I’ll keep those pesky squirrels at bay. I love to learn and additional training would be so much fun with you. I know how to sit, stay, “leave it”, and recall to my crate. I am potty trained and will let you know when I need to go out. Did I say how much I love to play with my ball? I love to play with other dogs my size and kids, I may get a little excited. Please contact the owner listed below directly. “Wolfie” or Wolf is a gorgeous three year old purebred German Shepherd (AKC registered and microchipped). He is extremely loved and is very smart. We have been working with a trainer since he was a puppy and he knows all basic and some higher level commands. He is housebroken and crate trained (he happily sleeps in his crate each night). He is very eager to learn and enjoys mental exercise. He is independent, and in true German Shepherd fashion, enjoys having a job. He is a working line dog and does best when allowed to have easy access to outdoor space. While he hangs out for a cuddle for a few minutes, he prefers to lay in the hallways or by a door. He is active, but also likes to chill, especially if he has a yard to hang out in. He is in a household with a young child and another dog, but would do best without young children or other pets. He does not do well with other dogs as he prefers to have all attention on him and tends to be territorial therefore a single pet household is best. While he tolerates children, he does not enjoy their constant company or the noise they make – it seems to make him anxious. He is up to date on all shots and was neutered at 2 years of age. He is a gorgeous microchipped, neutered German Shepherd mix, just over a year old, boasting a stunning dark brown coat with lighter brown on his torso…complemented by white patches on his chest and paws. His temperament is sweet and though initially shy, he quickly becomes affectionate. Koda is calm... seldom barks, and sheds minimally. He is house-trained, understands commands like “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “up” and has good recall. Koda is also getting the hang of his bathroom cue. While his leash skills are improving, he pulls occasionally. Koda is also making steady progress with crate training. His interaction with other dogs hasn’t been observed, but he was reported to be friendly during his journey from California to New York. Upon Koda’s arrival in New York, his caretaker ensured his health was thoroughly checked by a veterinarian, conducting tests including a fecal Dx profile for Giardia, a SNAP Heartworm 4Dx test, and a total health profile. Additionally he received a dose of Simparica Trio Blue. Thankfully he tested negative of heart worms, Initially underweight, Koda has since gained weight, necessitating a delay in his vaccinations, which are being done now. Koda is an incredible companion and would thrive with someone experienced in dog handling. Saving him from certain death, we are looking for a family that loves him because he deserves it and is a very good and sweet dog.
