How is Alan STILL waiting? It is honestly mind-boggling that this boy hasn't been adopted. Alan is smart, friendly, outgoing, and just an all-around good dog. He loves kids, loves other dogs, and-yes, I have personally witnessed this-will happily let you carry him around like a baby. Born on St. Patrick's Day, Alan has had the luck of the Irish up to this point. But lately, his luck seems to be running out. He's had applications that never showed up. Applications that were never returned. And people who ultimately chose another pup. Alan doesn't know any of that. He doesn't wonder why someone didn't come back. He doesn't understand that someone else was chosen. He just knows that when he sees people, he's happy to see them. But we know. And we know Alan deserves so much more than waiting. He deserves a home of his own. A family to love. Friends to play with. A yard to zoom around in. Toys to destroy. And people who think he's every bit as wonderful as we do. Seriously... HOW is Pepper still waiting?! This gorgeous 7-month-old German Shepherd mix is smart, silly, affectionate, adventurous, and just the right amount of puppy chaos. Basically, if you want a best friend with four legs and a very busy brain, Pepper is accepting applications. She's crate trained, potty trained, walks pretty well on a leash, and already has great manners-with just a little puppy polishing left to do. She's incredibly smart and eager to learn, so she'd love a family who will keep her mind and body busy with training, adventures, games, and fun. Pepper LOVES other dogs, especially bigger ones who can keep up with her enthusiastic play style. Since she occasionally forgets she's not actually a tiny dog, older kids would be the best fit. She's ready for hikes, adventures, zoomies, learning new things, and loving her people with her whole heart. She'll bring the brains and personality. You bring the snacks. She is a husky/Australian shepherd mix that we got as a puppy. She is 6 years old, up to date on vaccinations, is currently not spayed, but will be before any adoption.She is good with people and other dogs if introduced respectfully. She loves to snuggle, sleep, and play outside. She is crate/kenneled trained as well as house broken. She should not be in a home with small children, however, older kids that understand boundaries would be fine.
