Story
Kira was rescued from a backyard breeding program in Kitchener at around 2.5 months old. She has struggled with anxiety due to the conditions that she was subjected to as a puppy but has come a long way since then. She is highly intelligent and trainable, food motivated, and LOVES to run. She has quite a bit of training and knows many commands and some hand gestures. She is crate trained and is used to being crated at night and whenever she is in the home alone. Kira needs someone who can take charge and give her a job to do, she has been to pet expos, off leash parks, and long car rides and does absolutely fantastic. She is very eager to learn and would benefit from having someone who has the time to spend with her doing training and also playing. Her stamina WILL outlast yours, brain games like maybe scent training would be good for her. She is not fixed yet but she should be fixed as soon as possible. A loving, loyal companion dog who will always be by your side.

Story
Hey there I`m Epik, otherwise known Mr. Handsome and yes I am as friendly as I look! I`m not just friendly, I am also athletic and strong. For the big boy that I am I can jump pretty high and I weigh about 91 lbs. I could use some lessons in leash training and I am better off as the only pet in the house right now. Someone with shepherd experience would be best for me.I love to be loved and I am also a giver of love, affectionate is my middle name. If I sound like your kind of pup come down to London Animal Care Centre and meet me, maybe we can even go for a walk together.See you soon,Epik.

Winston, an 8-month-old All-Canadian mixed breed, is believed to be a mix of Shepherd and Husky. Winston's endearing nature makes him incredibly difficult to resist. He exhibits a fondness for other dogs and would benefit from having a playmate in his new home. As a young dog, he enjoys outdoor activities and playtime with his canine companions. It is not uncommon to find him napping alongside other dogs after an active session of play. According to his foster caregiver, Winston displays characteristics of a "Velcro Dog," as he prefers to remain close to his human. Whether he is lying next to her while she works or simply watching television in the evening, Winston consistently seeks companionship. A household where someone is frequently present would be ideal for his overall well-being. Winston has a love food and displays excitement during feeding times. Due to the presence of other dogs in the foster environment, he is usually fed in his crate to teach him  good doggie manners for feeding time. He demonstrates good manners when receiving treats, patiently sitting and waiting for his turn. His toys should be the "indestructible" type, as he has a tendency to dismantle them into smaller pieces, occasionally consuming these fragments. Winston has been vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He has also received monthly preventatives. Winston's adoption fee is $950.00, which includes health records and microchip registration.
