Meet Rumi. This 8-month-old Husky/Shepherd mix weighs about 36 pounds and will likely grow and fill out a bit more. She came to us from another local rescue and is ready to find a home of her own. Rumi is sweet, friendly, and playful with an attentive nature. She enjoys engaging with her people and has that fun, curious energy typical of a young dog. She’s still a bit mouthy, as many puppies her age are, so she’ll benefit from continued training and guidance to help her develop good habits. Rumi is open to meeting other dogs and would likely do well with a canine companion. She would be best suited for a home with older kids, as her playful mouthiness may be a bit much for younger children. She can also be cat tested if needed. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate young dog to grow with your family, Rumi could be a great match. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
