Meet Lady!She is a beautiful German Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger drive to work. She’s a very high-energy girl who thrives on structure, routine, and having a job to do. Lady is already familiar with training tools like a place board and enjoys learning and engaging with her handler. While she hasn’t been walked regularly due to her strength, with the right handler and continued training, walks could become one of her favorite daily activities. Because of her strength and energy, Lady would do best with an experienced adopter who can provide consistent exercise, leadership, and enrichment.Lady has some sensitivity around her neck so she will need a home that is mindful of this sensitivity Due to limited socialization, Lady may bark at strangers at first. However, once she has a chance to smell you and realize you’re a friend, she quickly shows her sweet and affectionate side. She has limited experience with other dogs, cats, and children, so a home willing to introduce new situations slowly and thoughtfully would be ideal.
