Blue is a sweet 9 year old senior dog looking for her next furever home! My parents are moving due to my dad having dementia and they are not able to take the dog with them. Blue gets along with other dogs. She has been in a large outdoor area these last several years. She is healthy with no known medical issues. She has had a small amount of obedience training. My parents would gladly provide for her financially.

MEET EZEKIEL!STATS: 3 years old, neutered, Siberian Husky Mix, 69 lbsAFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am such a loverboy! While I have a good amount of young-dog energy, I don’t have the energy of your typical Husky – I am MUCH lower-key. I love playing with other dogs or chasing around some toys in the yard, but after a while I just want to lay in a shady spot and enjoy the outdoors. When it comes to love, I’m your guy! I love leaning into your legs for some scratches and spending time sitting next to my favorite people!WHAT I LOVE: While it hasn’t been warm enough for shelter staff to break out the hose and kiddie pools, they have noticed that I sometimes lay in the empty pool or get my head a little too deep in the water bucket outside. They believe that I might be a big fan of water! I love jogging around with the other dogs, chasing the ball, and enjoying the cool breeze in my fur.KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my low key but playful, sweet personality would make me a good buddy for kids that are respectful and kind towards me.OTHER DOGS: I`m dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter!CATS: UnknownHIS MATCH: I would be the perfect match for someone who needs a moderately active best buddy – walks, playtime outside, you know – the “usual” stuff! Most importantly, I need someone that is going to be a great companion and that loves to cuddle!SPECIAL NOTE: Sure, my eyes are pretty, but wait until you see my hilarious slight underbite!Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://www.cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey.
