Story
Meet Smokey 🐾 Smokey has come a long way since the day we met him at the shelter. When he first arrived, he was completely shut down and overwhelmed by the world around him. Since then, he’s blossomed into a playful, affectionate, goofy boy who loves being part of the action. He LOVES attention, playtime, and spending time with his people. Whether he's chasing toys, playing tug, or simply hanging out by your side, Smokey is happiest when he gets to be part of whatever you're doing. And yes... those blue eyes are just as stunning in person. Smokey already knows quite a bit—sit, shake, kennel, leave it, and drop it. He's done well with house training and is comfortable in a crate, though he may occasionally offer his opinion about being in there when he'd rather be hanging out with you. He's comfortable being handled, enjoys being brushed, and never says no to a little extra affection. Like any dog, Smokey still has a few things he's working on: • Can get mouthy during play when he's excited • Gets enthusiastic at doors and may try to rush out • Is still polishing up his leash manners Smokey forms strong bonds with his people and loves being the center of attention. While he has had positive interactions with some dogs, he has struggled sharing his home and attention with other dogs long-term. Because of that, we believe he would be happiest as the only pet in the home. The best thing about Smokey? He genuinely wants to be with his people. He's affectionate, loyal, eager to learn, and ready to find a family of his own. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be your sidekick, your adventure buddy, and your biggest fan, Smokey may be your guy. 💙

Story
Meet Roxie! 🐾🖤 Roxie is the last remaining member of the Diva Litter, and while all of her sisters have found their forever homes, she's still patiently waiting for her turn. At around 5 months old, this beautiful German Shepherd mix has come such a long way. When she first arrived, Roxie was very timid and unsure of the world. With patience, love, and positive experiences, she's blossomed into an incredibly sweet, gentle girl whose personality shines a little brighter every day. Roxie is the definition of a sweetheart. She loves people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and doesn't mind cats. She's also wonderfully respectful of other dogs' boundaries—if another pup isn't interested in playing, Roxie simply backs off and gives them their space. Despite being a young shepherd, Roxie has a surprisingly calm personality. At adoption events, she's perfectly content to relax by your side, quietly taking everything in while soaking up the occasional cuddle and attention. She's the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention to steal your heart. Like any young shepherd, Roxie is smart and eager to continue learning. She'll thrive with a family who will keep building her confidence and include her in their adventures, but she's already proven just how resilient and loving she can be. Roxie is fully vetted and more than ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for. After watching each of her sisters head home, it's finally her turn. Could you be the one to make Roxie's happily ever after come true? ❤️🐾
