Story
Say hello to the beautiful mythical belusky Lyla. Ms. Lyla loves to jump to show love and get hugs but is just her way to decompress her excitement. Everyone is Ms. Lyla's friend and is easily entertained by a few laps around the lawn and a good squeaky toy. Lyla is always tapping gently on her kennel gate to say hello and is such a lover of simple things- a treat and pets light up her world. Note: we are not sure what Lyla's living situation was before she ended up at the shelter- but she does her business away from her food and sleeping area. Lyla has yet to show aggression but since she is so enthusiastic to meet everyone and forgets how big she is households with small children may not be the best living situation at this time.

Story
I acquired Hermes in April of 2021 at a local breeder in Tyler Texas. The breeder was new so I didn’t get papers for him but I did see Mom & Dad and they both looked like pure german shepards. Hermes is 5 years old and he needs a home with a big back yard and a doggy door would be so perfect for him. I had to move into an apartment and it has been hard on him. Hermes is vocal when he needs something. He loves playing fetch, & is obsessed with toys. He’s a good boy he wouldn’t hurt a fly, and sometimes even makes himself smaller to small dogs. When he sees bigger dogs he’ll bark but if you move them closer he’ll wanna play. He has never attacked a human or dog ever.

Story
Meet Cloudy - a husky with the energy of a thunderstorm and the decision-making skills of a tumbleweed! Cloudy believes every day is the most exciting day of his life. A leaf blows across the yard? Incredible. A person walks by? Best thing ever. Another dog exists somewhere in the distance? He has many thoughts and would like to discuss them immediately and at full volume. This fluffy whirlwind comes equipped with standard husky features, including dramatic facial expressions, enthusiastic opinions, and enough energy to power a small city. He approaches life with the confidence of someone who has never experienced consequences and the curiosity of a dog who suspects there may be snacks hidden in every corner of the universe. Cloudy loves to run, bounce, zoom, and generally make his presence known. If you're looking for a quiet couch potato who spends his days napping, Cloudy would like to respectfully ask: "Why would anyone do that?" Underneath all the chaos is a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy who just wants adventure, activity, and people to share his excitement with. He'd thrive with an active family that appreciates Husky antics and doesn't mind occasionally being serenaded by interpretive songs about breakfast, squirrels, or the injustice of closed doors. Adopt Cloudy and you'll never have to wonder what your dog is thinking. He'll tell you.

Story
Meet Storm! This beautiful husky mix is looking for a patient family willing to help her discover just how wonderful life can be. She appears to have had very little experience with things many dogs take for granted, including walking on a leash. New sights, sounds, and situations can make her feel timid and anxious at first, so she needs someone who will let her move at her own pace and build confidence along the way. Once she feels safe, though, her playful personality starts to shine! She's a sweet girl who loves to give hugs and celebrate her happiness with joyful zoomies around the yard. Watching her let loose and have fun is one of the best parts of getting to know her! Storm has also shown herself to be curious and friendly around cats, approaching them with interest rather than hostility. While she enjoys exploring and taking in the world around her, one thing is clear: kennel life is not for her. She longs for room to stretch her legs, sniff the grass, and enjoy a yard of her own. With patience, understanding, and a little time to settle in, this affectionate girl is sure to blossom into a devoted companion. If you're looking for a dog whose trust is earned and rewarded with hugs, love, and plenty of zoomies, she may be the perfect match. Come meet this talkative lady today!
