Story
Say hello to the beautiful mythical belusky Lyla. Ms. Lyla loves to jump to show love and get hugs but is just her way to decompress her excitement. Everyone is Ms. Lyla's friend and is easily entertained by a few laps around the lawn and a good squeaky toy. Lyla is always tapping gently on her kennel gate to say hello and is such a lover of simple things- a treat and pets light up her world. Note: we are not sure what Lyla's living situation was before she ended up at the shelter- but she does her business away from her food and sleeping area. Lyla has yet to show aggression but since she is so enthusiastic to meet everyone and forgets how big she is households with small children may not be the best living situation at this time.

She absolutely loves canine friends and thrives on running, wrestling, and playing to her heart's content. If your dog has been wishing for a playful best friend, Storm may be the perfect match! Whether it's long walks, hikes, trips to the park, or simply spending time playing in the backyard, she's happiest when she's on the move and sharing the fun with her people. Storm has also shown herself to be curious and friendly around cats, approaching them with interest rather than hostility. While she enjoys exploring and taking in the world around her, one thing is clear: kennel life is not for her. She longs for room to stretch her legs, sniff the grass, and enjoy a yard of her own. With patience, understanding, and a little time to settle in, this affectionate girl is sure to blossom into a devoted companion! Her playful personality blossoms when out of her kennel: she loves to give hugs and celebrate her happiness with joyful zoomies around the yard. Watching her let loose and have fun is one of the best parts of getting to know her! If you're looking for a dog whose trust is earned and rewarded with hugs, love, and plenty of zoomies, she may be the perfect match. Come meet this talkative lady today!

Story
Say hello to Max! One look into Max's striking eyes—one brilliant blue, one warm brown—and you'll understand why everyone stops to admire him. This handsome husky mix has the looks, the personality, and the adventurous spirit to match. For most of his life, Max has lived as an outdoor dog alongside his faithful companion, Kiara. Together, they've spent their days patrolling the yard, keeping an eye on the world, and finding plenty of ways to entertain one another. Now, Max is ready for something different: a second chapter where he gets to experience life as a true family dog. Max has lived with children and is said to do well with them, but he's a big, enthusiastic guy who can get carried away in the excitement. He likes to jump up to say hello and enjoys rough-and-tumble play, so he'll thrive with a family that appreciates his zest for life and is committed to helping him polish his manners. As you'd expect from a husky mix, Max is happiest when he has something to do. Whether it's long walks, hiking adventures, exploring new trails, or simply spending time with his people, he's looking for an active home that understands the needs of smart, energetic dogs and is excited to include him in everyday life. Max has spent years watching the world from the yard. Now he's hoping for a family that will open the gate to new experiences—cozy evenings inside, exciting adventures outside, and the unconditional love every dog deserves. If you're a husky lover searching for a loyal, handsome companion with endless potential and unforgettable eyes, Max is ready to make the most of his second chance. Call to meet him today!
