Since the day I was born, I knew metal bars and loud, unfamiliar noises before I ever knew gentle hands. I spent more time enduring than learning, more time surviving than living. So when we first meet, I might be just a little cautious. But it’s not fear that fills my heart. It’s more like I’m softly asking, “Is this okay? Are you safe?” With one treat and one kind voice, my question melts away. I’ll carefully step closer… and before you know it, my tail will be wagging just for you. --- Once I open up, I’m actually very affectionate. I love sitting close beside my person, looking into your eyes, and asking for attention in the sweetest ways. It almost feels like I instinctively know how to love — I just needed the chance to show it. I get along very well with other dogs my age. I enjoy playing and being part of a group. My energy is bright and healthy, and I carry a natural cheerfulness inside me. And walks? I absolutely love them. When I step outside, the whole world feels magical. Every sound, every breeze, every scent on the ground — it’s all new and fascinating. I haven’t been out in the world for very long, so everything is a discovery.
