Hi, I’m **Leia** 🐾
I’m a 1.5-year-old Husky x Shiba Inu mix — part athlete, part brainiac, all sass! I’m full of energy, super smart, and love a good challenge. I know some commands like sit, down, and stay, but let’s be honest… I only do what I want unless there are treats involved. I know my worth. 😉
I’m not the type to cuddle immediately. I need time, patience, and trust to build a strong bond. But once I let you in, I’ll show you my goofy, loyal side — and I’m *very* treat-motivated. I LOVE having a “job” or something to do, whether it’s training, games, or problem-solving puzzles.
I need a very **active, adult-only home** — no kids, no cats, no other dogs. I’d do best as the only dog, ideally in a home with a **big fenced yard** or even a farm where I can safely run, explore, and have space to roam. I thrive when I have consistent guidance, advanced training, and mental stimulation.
A little honesty: I have some challenges. I can bite when being picked up or when a lead is placed on me, and I’m sensitive around my face and neck. I need someone who will respect my boundaries on touch and work with me on feeling comfortable with a leash on/respecting your own boundaries. I’m also still learning leash manners, crate training, and not being possessive over toys and food. But I’m incredibly intelligent, and with a patient, dedicated human, I can absolutely thrive.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on everything as far as vaccines Spay/Neuter and Flea/Heartworm Prevention. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there is a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee -Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Mercy Full Project cover vet bills, maintain their facility and cover the cost of their operations to rescue more animals in need
