Story
Hello, I would like you to meet Oakley. A pure bred Shiba Inu with TONS of personality. He loves sniffing around the yard and attempting to catch birds/squirrels, and playing with toys. He is highly active and will need to be taken on regular walks, thankfully I have almost never had to trim his nails because he wears them down outdoors perfectly. He does shed quite a bit as all Shiba Inu's do. He's aggressive towards most dogs, we haven't attempted cats yet. With that, we would prefer him to be the only animal in the home. He was raised in a in home daycare so is great with kids as long as he's not riled up and excited (he play nips at your clothes sometimes when he gets the zoomies). Will need to go to a home with a privacy fence. He's a great dog and knows many commands, but doesn't get along with 2 of our other 4 rescues. Please reach out with any questions or if you'd like to set up a play date with Oakley!

Story
If you’ve ever wished your dog had the refined, discerning energy of a cat… we hope you`re ready to meet the Shiba who chooses you! Allow us to introduce Rudy—a Shiba Inu with a master’s degree in personal boundaries and a minor in selective affection.Rudy is a young, compact gentleman (just under 20 lbs!) who prefers his world calm, predictable, and curated for maximum coziness. He recently spent time in a home with two adults and, in classic Shiba fashion, politely decided he preferred just one. He’s not antisocial—he just believes that true love is exclusive.Rudy would thrive best in a home with one human he can devote himself to (and claim as his personal emotional support staff), a peaceful environment with a chill routine, and comfy spots where he can observe life like a small, fox-shaped philosopher. No competing pets—Rudy would like to be the sole recipient of admiration, attention, and snack distribution (a big yes on the snacks, please)Overall, this guy is like many Shibas in the sense of being an ndependent thinker with cat-like tendencies. Can be a professional lounger but will gaze at you like he’s judging your life choices (and might be). Rudy isn’t a “dog park social butterfly”—he’s more of a “quiet evening in, just you and me” kind of guy. But for the right person, he will be the funniest, quirkiest, most endearing little shadow you’ve ever had. Consider coming to meet him today!
