Story
Owston is a goofy, affectionate, incredibly smart dog! He absolutely loves people-- snuggling, walking, playing, and making you laugh. He unfortunately is not getting along with my other dog any longer and is looking for a home where he can be the only pet. Owston will love going on walks with you, exploring new areas and sniffing *everything*. He is very food motivated, and quickly learns new tricks once he realizes he'll get treats! In true Shiba fashion he will constantly try to outsmart you, but unlike a lot of Shibas, he is an absolute cuddle bug. When he's not off exploring, he wants nothing more than to be snuggled up on the couch or someone'ss lap (even if he's a little big for that!). It breaks my heart to be separated from him, but I believe Owston will truly flourish as someone's only pet. I would love to be able to receive occasional updates or photos-- he will always be in my heart. I only want what is best for him.

Story
Owston is the sweetest boy, a 4yo male Shiba with a heart of gold. He is a goofy, affectionate, incredibly smart dog. He absolutely loves people-- snuggling, walking, playing, and making you laugh. He unfortunately is not getting along with my other dog any longer and is looking for a home where he can be the only pet. Owston was my husband's dog before we met. He brought him out of a dark depression after his first bout with cancer. Unfortunately, my husband's cancer relapsed and he passed away in 2024. He was definitely Owston's *person*, and the loss combined with the many changes to Owston's routine worsened his reactive behaviors toward other dogs, that we'd worked so hard to train away. It breaks my heart to be separated from him, but I believe Owston will truly flourish as someone's only pet. I would love to be able to receive occasional updates or photos-- he will always be my and my husband's baby boy. I only want what is best for him.

Story
Had to put down my other dog and don’t have enough time at home to keep him company. Needs a home with lots of love and attention. No issues with other dogs before but prefer home with no other pets. Not good with cats or small animals. Very friendly, loves food, walks, and being a spoiled brat. Hates the water and when it rains. Cannot go off leash
