Story
After Hachi was brought here from Japan (yes, he is an authentic Shiba/Akita mix from Asia) he had a fairly happy life with his family, but that quickly changed. Hachi's health care became neglected, and after the humans split up, Hachi was abandoned at the dog sitter's home. Several months and multiple attempts to get this owner to take responsibility for her dog resulted in, "Just take him to the shelter." Well, we couldn't let that happen, and Hachi is now under the care of our rescue. This senior boy is "Easy" with a capital "E"! A couch potato of the highest order, Hachi just needs a cozy place to hang with his people or his canine and feline siblings. He just wants to chillax. A leisurely walk, weather permitting, is great, too.

Story
Adopted this super sweet boy on 10/10. Immediately did not get along with other pet in the household and would prefer a single dog house. He’s so sweet! 6 years old and loves to cuddle and watch tv or play outside with his stick and ball. He loves all humans and is only reactive to other dogs in his personal space. Please consider this sweet boy!

Story
We got Shibibi as a puppy from a local pet store in April '22 and he is microchipped (can be registered), he is currently 2 years old. We're looking for a new home for him since my wife and I have increased our time away from home due to growing a business and we want him to have more quality time he deserves to play and have human interaction. Shibibi is super sweet and friendly when he gets to know people, with other dogs however he is extremely territorial and should be homed either solely by himself (no other dogs or cats); or ideally which we would prefer to stay with and be homed with our dog Yodi (pictured in the last photo together) which he is quite bonded with, as they have been with each other from just puppies and had a litter together 7 months ago. Shibibi has since been neutered and we'd love to find a great home for him.

Story
Dahlia is a 2 year old pure bred Shiba Inu. She is super playful with other dogs in outside settings but is typically apprehensive with people unless they have a friendly dog too. Of note, she does resource guard food so someone without other pets would work best unless you can train her. Once she likes you she is super silly and affectionate. Most of the time you can find her taking a nap, playing with her ball or stuffed toys, having the zoomies or pawing at you to give her pets. Unlike most shibas, dahlia is tiny and likes a lot of attention when you are not busy but when she can see you on the phone or even working from home she will typically lay down nearby until she is ready to eat, walk or have some pets. Being as intelligent as shibas typically are, she is quick to learn so long as you have treats to give her. She is also used to being trained on an e-collar as she is a stubborn breed, but once you get past the rough edges dahlia is the sweetest most playful girl.

Story
Hello, I'm looking to rehome a Shiba Inu named Kuma, he's about 3 years old and neutered. I'm hoping to find a loving family that will enjoy his goofy personality. He loves meeting people, going to the park, going on runs or just being a couch potato. He does amazing around children and grew up around dogs both big and small. It can take a bit of time for him to come out of his shell and get comfortable.

These pups are in Las Vegas, Nevada too!
