Story
Dori is a beautiful nine year old female pure-bred Shiba Inu. She has always had a doggy door and a back yard. She is fastidious and polite. Shiba's have a thick undercoat that comes out with shedding shampoo and a special comb. She has been fed on high quality grain-free, chicken-free, salmon sourced kibble her whole life. She has urinary incontinence that has been corrected by hormone therapy. Bloodline and vet records available. I am elderly and have come to the difficult decision that I do not have six to eight more years to properly care for my Dori. She would love to be in a home with a retired couple that is home often. She doesn't mind going in the car, but she is always ready to be home again. As with most female Shiba's, she does not care for other dogs most of the time. There are a few she plays with, but she needs a single dog home. When she meets her new vet, make sure they are familiar with Shiba's. They are described as cat-like and so aren't always compliant. Thank you
