I got Kana, a 7 month old Shiba Inu, from a breeder. Kana is a playful, curious, independent, and medium-energy puppy. She's been socialized around other dogs, cats, and children, and is the kind of dog you'd feel comfy bringing to the dog park. She does not bite and enjoys playing, exploring, and keeping herself entertained. She's also comfortable spending time by herself and enjoys independent play. At times she exercises herself. She doesn't need someone directing her playtime. However, she still needs regular exercise and enrichment. Unfortunately, I've recently lost my job and am experiencing significant financial hardship. I'm struggling to afford even my own basic necessities, and I can no longer provide Kana with the care she deserves. Kana is still a puppy and needs some additional training and patience. She's not fully housebroken yet. She does potty outside consistently but still has occasional indoor accidents, so she'll need someone willing to continue training.

She is a 4 year old Shiba Inu. She is very energetic, playful and fun loving. She loves being outside and sniffing everything. She is very smart and knows some commands but can be stubborn about when to do them. Due to my health complications I cannot give this cute dog the care she needs. I want her to go to a good home. She loves scratches behind her ear or on the top of her head. She’s not much of a cuddler though. She is very loyal and needs someone who will prioritize her.

Tito is a 3-year-old, 37-pound pup who has endured more than most. Rescued from the streets and brought to the Weslaco shelter with a severely embedded collar that was put on as a puppy and never removed as he grew. Tito spent his life on the streets after fleeing his home, before finally finding safety. Now, he’s ready for the love and stability of a forever home. Though he needs a brief warm-up period to feel secure, Tito quickly shows his affectionate side. He loves other dogs and is especially nurturing toward puppies, making him a wonderful companion for a household with another dog. Until he feels fully safe, he’ll do best with a harness and leash to help him build trust. Tito is playful, gentle, and longing for a family to call his own. After surviving so much, he deserves a home where he can finally relax, be loved, and share his loyal heart. Tito is located in our shelter in Hondo, Texas.
