Meet Dracula — the perfectly pint-sized mix of sweet and spicy, looking for someone who gets him. Don’t be fooled by the name — he’s not out for blood, just love. Once he feels safe, this quirky little guy will melt right into you, showing his softer, snuggly side. Dracula is housebroken, well-mannered, and happiest as the star of the show — no other pets, please. He does best in a calm, low-traffic home without children, where he can build trust at his own pace. He may be cautious at first and a little nippy when nervous, but with patience and kindness, he transforms into the most loyal little shadow you’ll ever have. About Dracula: -Potty trained and well-behaved at home -Prefers to be the only dog -Needs a calm, child-free home -Shy at first but deeply affectionate once he bonds -Loves belly rubs, ear scratches, and cozy snuggles Dracula’s a tiny dog with a huge heart — he just needs someone patient enough to help him shine. Once he chooses you, he’s yours for life. Adoption is $350, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home. Story
Cody is a very gentle, sweet and lovable dog. Sadly his previous owners didn't take very good care of him and kept him living mostly outside where he frequently got out of the yard. He was found running loose by a busy street in Detroit when our director saw him and was able to rescue him. Cody was able to lead her back to a house where he lived and his owner agreed to surrendered him. When we got him he was a mess with his coat so matted and long we had a bag full of fur after we trimmed him. Cody is a very happy fellow now that he is finally safe and being taken care of. He likes to run outside in the yard and play with the small dogs he is being fostered with and we think he would love another small dog to play with at his new home and a fenced in yard. A basic training course is required to reinforce listening skills and bonding with his new owner. Cody also enjoys playing with toys and stuffies. Cody will make a wonderful addition to your family if given the chance. We were told he is 3 years old and he weighs about 24 pounds.
