Story
Meet Mitzy Mitzy is a 12 year old Shih Tzu with plenty of pep in her step! Don’t let her age (or her partial blindness) fool you, this spunky little lady is always ready for an adventure. She lives for walks and would happily stroll the neighborhood for as long as you’ll let her. She also loves a good game of tug with her toys! Mitzy isn’t your typical lap dog she’s not much of a cuddler—but she makes up for it with her playful spirit and adventurous personality. She’s housebroken, and her foster says she’ll even tuck herself into her kennel for a nap when she’s ready for a little downtime. Mitzy does require some extra TLC: she takes Apoquel daily for her skin and needs eye ointment twice a day to keep her eyes healthy. Because of her vision and her love of exploring, we do require a fenced in backyard for her. If you’re looking for a spirited, loyal walking buddy who will keep you smiling, Mitzy is your girl!
