Story
Kuma is a very loving girl! She is up to date on shots, has been dewormed, but is not spayed, which we would recommend doing once she is a bit older. She was born December 2nd and we have been fostering her since January. Mom is purebred Shi Tzu and Dad is pure Mini Goldendoodle, making her the cutest, sweetest Shih Poo! She is good with other dogs, cats, and loves children. She is currently teething, but we have been teaching her that her people are not chew toys. She is doing well with crate and house training but will need more training and consistency. She does have some anxiety when put into the crate without another dog in there with her, but we have been working with her through this to give her more time alone in there. Overall, she is comfortable in her crate and often goes in there on her own for naps and breaks! She is learning that it’s a safe space for her. We have thoroughly enjoyed fostering her and look forward to finding her forever home and forever family.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. Skipper was born Sept 2023. Adorable and friendly! he should be under 15 lbs as an adult. he loves everyone including dogs and children! Surrendered with sibling. They became too old to sell to a store. They were surrendered to rescue for that reason. Needs work on housetraining. They are currently in boarding in the midwest. Transport is available to the NE or south. Adoption fee is 950.00 and includes transport.    Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a  $20.00  donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Please read the FAQ on our website for additional information. Adoption fees are cash or money order only. Denzel is a sweet and playful miniature poodle boy. He was born 9/27/22. He was surrendered by a breeder because he had a retained testicle and was not suitable for breeding for this reason. We are still working on house training. He has been vetted and groomed and he is ready for a new home. Adoption fee is 650.00. Located in the south.
