Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs to their new home leaving by January 9th 2026 (could be sooner!) to the east coast from where we are located here in Southern California. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Naveen and Jasmine to our trip for the right home/homes! As always for our adopters peace of mind we never ask for anything up front! Their adoption fees, along with their adopting families share of travel costs will be due the day we arrive in person with Naveen and Jasmine ultimately finalizing their adoptions. Naveen and Jasmine are a stunning pair of Goldendoodle siblings who remind us every day how special it is when love runs in pairs. Their soft, hypoallergenic coats shimmer like gold in the sun, but it’s their hearts — pure, joyful, and endlessly affectionate — that truly make them shine. These two have grown up side by side, best friends since birth, and their connection is something extraordinary to witness. Here, they’ve shown us what it means to live in harmony — playing, resting, and even asking for attention together (and yes, it’s a full-time job keeping both their tails wagging at once). While we would love to see them adopted together, we know that life sometimes writes its own story. If two wonderful homes come along instead of one, we have every confidence that both will thrive — their love for life and people runs so deep that they’ll carry that warmth wherever they go. Their prior owners loved them deeply and cared for them with great devotion. When they made the difficult decision to move out of the country, they reached out to us through tears, knowing they couldn’t take them along no matter how much they wanted to. It broke their hearts to say goodbye, but they did what every selfless pet parent hopes they would do in such a situation — ensured their beloved dogs would remain safe, loved, and secure. Their choice gave Naveen and Jasmine the opportunity to continue their lives surrounded by care and affection while waiting for their next forever family. Both dogs are incredibly well-mannered and wonderfully social. They’re great with other dogs, gentle with children, and loving with both men and women. They have amazing house manners and are easy to live with — the kind of dogs that make your home feel calmer just by being in it. They know all their basic commands — sit, come, stay, down, and shake — and follow them with eagerness and pride. They’re not barkers by nature but will use their voices when something unfamiliar catches their attention, always mindful and quick to settle once reassured. Naveen, the charming brother, has a deep love for water and takes daily swims in our pool, gliding through the water like it’s his second home. Jasmine, his sweet sister, is his quiet cheerleader — she prefers the shallow end, dipping her paws and keeping a watchful eye on him as he plays. They balance each other perfectly: where Naveen is adventurous and playful, Jasmine is thoughtful and tender. Together, they create a perfect sense of peace and joy. They adore affection and will melt into your lap the moment you start petting them — sometimes both at once, each resting their heads gently against you as if reminding you that love is meant to be shared. Good thing I have two hands (one for each 😂). They’re affectionate, loyal, and happiest when close to their people — whether that means curling up by your feet, following you from room to room, or sharing quiet moments at the end of the day. Both are house trained, crate trained, and sleep soundly through the night — whether in their crate or on a bed beside yours. They love walks, are wonderful on leash, and travel perfectly on road trips, hopping right in with bright eyes and wagging tails, ready for the next adventure. They’re excellent at the groomers and take their pampering sessions like the professionals they are. And, of course, they’re huge fans of treats — which makes every bit of training as fun as it is easy. They’ve continued to grow and thrive with us — perfecting their manners, strengthening their confidence, and showing everyone who meets them what pure devotion looks like. They are dogs who love with their entire hearts, and whether they go home together or separately, they will bring nothing but happiness and warmth to the families lucky enough to call them their own. Adoption Fees are on our website at the bottom of their adoption listings at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/naveen-and-jasmine Both Naveen and Jasmine will be fully vetted, microchipped, vaccinated, and cleared by our veterinarian prior to adoption. Their exams are set for November 11, 2025, and any necessary updates will be reflected at that time. Their adoption fees cover all veterinary care, including their exams and any procedures or treatments recommended by our vet, as well as the care, training, and professional grooming they’ve received while with us. Naveen and Jasmine are everything wonderful about family — loyal, loving, joyful, and kind. Whether their journey continues side by side or along two separate but equally happy paths, one thing is certain: they will fill their forever homes with a love that’s as golden as their hearts. 💛🐾

Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Abbie to our trip for the right home/home! As always for our adopters peace of mind we never ask for anything up front! Her adoption fee, along with her adopting families share of travel costs will be due the day we arrive in person with Abbie ultimately finalizing her adoption. Meet Abbie 💗 Abbie is the kind of little dog who slips into your life with a softness that feels like she was always meant to be there. She has the sweetest, most serene temperament—gentle, loving, and incredibly attentive to her person. At just over 8 lbs with a straight, hypoallergenic Havanese-Poodle mix coat, she’s a delicate, elegant little companion who loves with her whole heart in the quietest, most comforting ways. She doesn’t need grand gestures or constant activity; she simply wants to belong, to be held, to be near, and to be someone’s steady little shadow throughout the day. She came to us from an older gentleman in a wheelchair who adored his dogs dearly but could no longer physically care for them. His love for them was clear, and making the choice to surrender them was an act of true devotion—putting their futures first. Although the dogs in his home knew one another, their bond was truly with him, not with each other, so it became very clear that finding individual families for each of them was the right next step. Abbie has taken that transition with so much grace. She trusts easily, she loves openly, and she holds no hesitation in her heart. Abbie is wonderfully behaved and exceptionally easy to live with. She is house trained and on a consistent 3–4 hour outdoor potty routine. She sleeps peacefully in her crate at night, though she would happily curl up beside your bed or in it if you prefer—she is very adaptable and thrives in routine and closeness. She’s not a barker, but she will softly alert you to unfamiliar noises in a way that feels helpful rather than reactive. She loves other dogs and cats and blends in with any home dynamic beautifully, though her true happiness comes from being with her person. She has a playful side that comes out in the yard during sunbathing sessions, but even then, it’s gentle and joyful, never chaotic or overwhelming. Abbie enjoys grooming and adores being pampered—she stands calmly and loves every bit of the attention. She is wonderful on road trips, happiest resting in your lap, which is why we recommend a booster seat for safe travel when she can’t be held by someone other than the driver. Her manners in the home are impeccable; she is calm, respectful, and content simply being near you. Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/abbie-1 She is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and has had a full dental cleaning with necessary extractions, along with a complete exam by our veterinarian. Her adoption fee helps cover her medical care, dental extractions, microchip, months of care with us, her grooming needs, and the training and structure we’ve provided to prepare her for this next chapter. Note: Abbie will need to be on a soft food diet for now as sadly almost all of her teeth had to be removed. (She has 6 teeth left, two of which are her bottom k9's so no, her tounge isn't hanging out (it's a question we get a lot!!) She is as beautiful and perfect as ever, just with less teeth 🙃 Abbie is ready for someone who wants a loving, peaceful, deeply devoted companion. If you’re looking for a soft little soul who will give you her entire heart without hesitation, she may be your perfect match.
