Story

Casper is a 6-year-old (7 yo in July) Shih Tzu and Poodle mix who currently weighs around 11 pounds. He is a gentle, small-sized companion looking for an owner who can spend time with him. He gets along with other dogs (pictured). In daily life, Casper is quiet and easy to have around. He is potty trained and prefers doing his business on natural grass outside. He is a low-maintenance dog who enjoys being near his people without demanding constant attention. He does love to be held but doesn't need to be. He likes having a soft toy and an occasional bone as a treat. He likes cheese more than peanut butter too. He is a steady companion who brings a calm presence to the household, although he is very excited when he sees you. He does love to go on walks and does well with the groomer and vet. We have loved him since taking him home as a puppy but we are moving into a place that does not allow pets and are heartbroken. We want to find someone to love him as much as we do!
