His dream job? Full-time companion, with unlimited lap privileges. He even uses little doggie stairs to get onto the couch and bed. Independent transportation to the cuddle department! 🥹Zolo does have past trauma, so trust takes time. He doesn’t like being picked up or touched with feet and may growl when he’s uncomfortable. That’s his way of asking for space, and he needs people who listen, respect his boundaries, and let him settle in at his own pace. In just a few weeks with his foster, he’s already become much more comfortable and rarely growls. Under that initially sassy exterior is a deeply affectionate little love bug.His ideal home is calm, without small children, and with someone home much of the day. He enjoys little backyard outings throughout the day and then heading back inside to his people. His sturdy little bow legs generally keep up with him, though they can shake after too much activity, so a gentle pace suits him.He’s smart, too: he learned his new name in just two weeks! Thankfully, her foster momma stepped up and has made incredible progress with her, giving Pippa all the love, patience, and care she needed—including regular medicated baths to help her skin heal and feel better. Despite her rough start, Pippa has held onto the sweetest, happiest personality and is absolutely full of love. 🥹Pippa is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She loves starting her mornings with a nice long walk, lounging on the patio in the fresh air, and playing with the other dogs in her foster home. Mimi's glow-up has been about so much more than a haircut!She came to us as part of a cruelty and hoarding case, completely matted and understandably unsure about the people around her. Her coat was in such rough shape that she had to be shaved down, and emotionally, she needed some time too. We let Mimi move at her own pace and learn that people could be safe.And look at her now! Her coat has grown back, she's looking absolutely glamorous, and the cautious little dog who first arrived has blossomed into the sweetest, most devoted companion.Mimi may still need a little time to decide you're trustworthy, but once she does, congratulations, you've acquired a shadow! She wants to be in your lap, curled up at your feet, or somewhere nearby where she can keep an eye on you. At bedtime, she'd love nothing more than to snuggle into bed and sleep touching her person.She's pretty laid back, house trained, and gets along well with people and other dogs. Kookie and Skooter are siblings (same dad) they have never been apart. They are both 6 years old. I’ve always worked from home so they’re never alone for too long. They were my mom’s dogs but when she had a stroke I took them and cared for them. Skooter has anxiety and needs to constantly be in the same room as you. Kookie is very sweet and will risk her life for a treat! 😂 I’m hoping they can stay together for Kookie’s sake more than Skooter. I work a lot and I don’t think I can give the full life they deserve. They both bark at the door and at people walking by but they don’t attack or bite.
