M - 3 years old - Chihuahua Mix - Pascual is a gentle little guy with a dainty, low-key play style. Don't get us wrong... he does get his zoomies when it's just you and him in the yard. But in doggie playgroup, he preferred to take things slow and wasn’t too interested in the more energetic dogs who wanted to bounce around. When other pups got a little too pushy, Pascual wasn’t afraid to politely let them know with a small growl to respect his boundaries. But Pascual isn't in it for the dog party. His main focus was the person who brought him out. While the other dogs ran around, Pascual’s top priority was claiming his spot right in someone’s lap and soaking up all the attention he could get. He can be a little possessive of his person and doesn’t love sharing the spotlight when other dogs come over looking for pets. Because of this, Pascual may do best in a home where he can truly be the center of someone’s world, or with calm dogs who are happy to give him his space. What he really wants is a cozy lap, gentle affection, and a person he can call his own. If you’re looking for a tiny companion who wants to be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your devoted little sidekick, Pascual is ready to curl right up in your heart. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. All adoptions are $25 and our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to head home with you. Princess and Caesar are a bonded pair, meaning they must go home together. Caesar is a healthy boy who can't wait to find a new forever home after his previous owner passed away.
