Meet Tuffy! He is a handsome Yorkie mix who is 3.5 months old. Weighing in at 5 pounds, he is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative/on prevention, neutered, and microchipped. He’s working hard on potty training and does well with a potty pad. A snuggler, he is shy but learning to play. He gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home as well as cats! He can be barky at times so probably not a good fit for apartment living. Keep in mind he is a puppy, so he will require dedicated time for continued training. Sounds like a good fit? Here’s what to keep in mind: His adoption fee is $500. Our foster group is located in the south suburbs of Chicago and we serve that general area. We do not ship dogs. Hello. I’m Charlie, a 15 pound 4 year old neutered Chihuahua/Spaniel mix. I am a creature of habit. I like routine. I like fetch, and I really like laps (not running laps, but lying on human ones). I live with dogs, but just to cohabitate. I’m not one for playing with the dogs. As far as adults go, I’ll take any lap I can find. When it comes to kids, I‘m more of an older kid buddy[over 8]. I’m crate trained, but need some work on housetraining. So in short, I’m a social butterfly who will need some work on a housetraining schedule in my new home. So crate training will likely need to be continued for a time. Charlie’s adoption fee is $425. Complete & submit your application, which will serve as the basis for a conversation, & you will be contacted. Charlie’s adopter must live in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.***

Meet Neva! She is a 4 year old chihuahua mix weighing in at 8.5 pounds. She can be shy and nervous with strangers but after she trusts you she is a lover. She loves to snuggle on the couch and in the bed. She walks nicely on a leash and is potty trained with reminders. She gets along with the other small dogs in the house but would be fine as an only dog as she can be jealous. She is not a good fit for an apartment as she will bark at noises. She is spayed and vaccinated against distemper/parvo, bordetella, rabies, and is heartworm negative/on prevention and is also microchipped. She’s looking for a family who will give her all the love she deserves and with older children only. Her adoption fee is $450. Sounds like the perfect match?
