You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mwanna is a very sweet, 8 year old chihuahua. She is blind but gets around fairly well once she learns the lay out. She is friendly and loves to be around people. She is happy to snuggle on the couch. She is very calm and rarely barks unless she is locked up away from people. She can’t see so even if you are nearby, she can’t tell, so she calls out for you. She is working on housebreaking. She goes potty outside if taken out on a regular basis and does use piddle pads. She is very fond of her daughter, Delilah. It would be nice if they could stay together. With love and attention, Mwanna would make a perfect pet. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise. MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
