Meet Mitzy Mitzy is a 12 year old Shih Tzu with plenty of pep in her step! Don’t let her age (or her partial blindness) fool you, this spunky little lady is always ready for an adventure. She lives for walks and would happily stroll the neighborhood for as long as you’ll let her. She also loves a good game of tug with her toys! Mitzy isn’t your typical lap dog she’s not much of a cuddler—but she makes up for it with her playful spirit and adventurous personality. She’s housebroken, and her foster says she’ll even tuck herself into her kennel for a nap when she’s ready for a little downtime. Mitzy does require some extra TLC: she takes Apoquel daily for her skin and needs eye ointment twice a day to keep her eyes healthy. Because of her vision and her love of exploring, we do require a fenced in backyard for her. If you’re looking for a spirited, loyal walking buddy who will keep you smiling, Mitzy is your girl! Millie was found wandering the streets, which is no place for a chihuahua. She was likely dumped as an old lady with her previous owner expecting her to not survive, but Millie is a fighter. She is now in a loving foster home and is a feisty protector of Pawdrey. She is a loving, sweet lady once she knows you and she will be a loyal companion as long as you are.

Sassy is a 12 year old yorkie who was left at the pound. She is very shy, preferring to spend her days snoozing in a sunny spot, with that spot being outside in the sun if it's not too hot. She is a very quiet doggy, for a yorkie, rarely barking or making a raucous. She is blind in one eye, has no teeth, and has a medically luxating patella and some alopecia along her spine. She is semi-potty trained, depending on her access to the outside. If you have a quiet home life and would like someone to share that peace with, Sassy is your gal.
