Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, My Name is Eliana, I am a 4 year old yorkie looking for a forever home with a family experienced with scared little girls who are picky about human men. I weighed in at 8.12 lbs and came into rescue due to my mom having health issues. I am a healthy girl and finished my vetting a bit ago, but have been working on my emotional healing that will be an ongoing process. I am crate trained and house trained. (With the exception of when I get scared. I do leak pee even if I just emptied my bladder) I‘m learning to walk on a leash so a fenced yard is a must. I love to go on car rides, love other dogs, and to play with toys. I do love to be cuddled but, on my terms, and when I want. If you come at me too quickly, I tinkle. My foster mom is always asking what happened to make me so scared, and I just look at her and wag my tail. I love toys, especially the ones that squeak. I toss them around and squeak them as often as I can. I also love treats.... they are my favorite thing ever. I can't tell what my past was like, but in a calm home with a patient family, I will come around and blossom with time. Can you be my forever family!?! To adopt Eliana, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, dental, and all the love you can handle! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bentlee, a special little 6 year old yorkie boy weighing in at 8 pounds. The world is a big scary place for him and we fear he had a traumatic past. He takes comfort in his bed away from activities, but he will wonder out for high quality snacks, and to squeak a toy, with a little more brave exploration each day . Ben really needs a special person that has time to hold him and help him feel comfortable in his own time. He in not a fan of the outdoors, but maybe when it warms up he will venture out more. He is ever so gentle and appreciates a good belly rub. Bentlee is good with cats and maybe another small dog or two that are calm. He prefers human females but would do ok with a gentle man to pamper him. In a patient home committed to this little guy, we know he will continue to come around. Won't you give this sweet soul a chance? To adopt Bentlee, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snoopy is an adorable 4 year old, 13 pound Shih Tzu looking for his happily ever after! He is a phenomenal guy as long as nothing of high value such as bones or long lasting chews are involved and he is crated while humans eat. If those two rules are followed, he is PERFECT! Snoopy is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and does well with other small dogs. He is great for grooming but does get squirmy for the water part. He is great for vet visits unless blood needs drawn, then he needs some sedative medication beforehand or he flails like a helicopter. Snoopy is great at giving clear signs of being unsure during his settle in time to a new environment and if you follow his ques, he will be your vest friends, and allow all handling in a weeks time. If you are willing to set some small boundaries and be patient, this handsome boy could be perfect for you! To adopt Snoopy, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org.
