Meet Cookie, a two month old Lab/Chihuahua mix weighing eight pouinds.Cookie is a sweet, social puppy who is just beginning her journey in life. She came to us through our My Last Litter program, which helps reduce pet overpopulation by spaying mom dogs while also finding loving homes for their puppies. Her mom is a Lab mix, and dad is believed to be a smaller dog, possibly a Chihuahua mix—so Cookie and her littermates are likely a fun blend of many breeds, and it will be exciting to watch them grow.Unlike some of her more reserved siblings, Cookie is more outgoing and confident. She has longer legs than her littermates and a playful, curious personality that helps her explore the world with enthusiasm. She still has plenty to learn, but she approaches new experiences with a friendly, willing attitude.Like all puppies, Cookie will need continued socialization, training, and structure as she grows. Early positive experiences with new people, places, sounds, and other animals will be especially important in helping her grow into a well-rounded adult dog.Cookie is looking for a loving home that is ready for the fun (and work!) of puppyhood and can guide her with patience, consistency, and plenty of encouragement as she continues to grow and learn.This pet is available for adoption on 6.5.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
